Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an opportunity to enhance the quality of your life and relationships by working with a professional. Working with a psychologist can help you to:

  • make difficult changes

  • feel better

  • support mental health

  • get unstuck

  • feel less triggered

  • improve relationships

  • reduce suffering

  • address trauma

  • develop coping strategies

  • increase well-being

Everyone experiences problems, but sometimes seeing a psychologist is key to enhancing mental health, relationships, and life.

Areas of Clinical Practice

My name is Dr. Natalee Popadiuk, and I am a Registered Psychologist (#1690) with over 20 years of experience as a therapist providing therapy for many of life's challenges:

  • Depression & anxiety

  • ADHD

  • Relationship issues

  • Recurring life patterns

  • Childhood abuse / neglect

  • Trauma (recent or past)

  • Dissociative disorders

  • Combat trauma

  • Grief & loss

  • Suicide bereavement

  • Life transitions

As a former full-time academic, I use evidence from the research in order to provide effective treatment that meets each client's needs.

Seeing a Psychologist

Using a professional is very common in many areas of life. Unfortunately, working with an expert when it comes to mental health is often unjustly stigmatized.

There are many ideas about who goes to therapy. Clients are often high-functioning in many areas of life, but recognize that they could benefit from seeing a professional when feeling stuck or uncertain.

As a Registered Psychologist, I offer expertise, tools, and a plan to effectively address problems and get things back on track. I work collaboratively with clients to best meet their needs, and I offer a strong ethic of care.
